Financial Planning during Crisis. What to do with your money when your world is upside down.

Common sense can go out the window when we're in crisis. Whether it's the turbulence of a divorce, death, or another emotionally taxing event, it's time to circle the wagons and gather your support squad. When you're vulnerable, you're more likely to be taken advantage of, or to throw good money after bad trying to fix a situation. In this workshop we'll work through a process to identify the emotional triggers unique to your situation, and create a gameplan that you can turn to in moments where you're required to make snap decisions, or feel pressure to address important topics without adequate preparation or knowledge. You'll come away with a stronger understanding of your financial landscape, and what steps to take, and in what order.

Whether you're a solo entrepreneur or have employees, taking time to figure out a retirement plan can be daunting and not what you had in mind when you set out to share your passion with the world. In this class we will work through the basic types of retirement plans for business owners at various stages in their growth, and what questions to ask as you implement a retirement strategy. You'll come away with a good understanding of different types of retirement plans available today. We'll discuss options like a solo 401(k), a review of popular online 401(k) platforms for small and medium businesses, and highlight best practices for partnerships and companies with more than one owner.
